Chris graduated with a BA in English Literature from Miami University and a Master of Architecture degree from Cornell University.  He became interested in sustainable design and construction working for a historic restoration contractor in Annapolis, MD and Washington, DC.  In school, Chris served as project manager and construction manager for the 2009 Cornell University Solar Decathlon team.  The 800 sq. ft. Silo House was displayed at the New York State Fair in Syracuse and on the National Mall in Washington DC at the Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon competition.

With BUILDlab, Chris combines his interests in energy-efficient design and building with an academic and hands-on approach.
